APPETITE FOR LIFE
MSN DELISH · DIY KITCHEN
Appetite for Life is a long-running MSN video series hosted by Andrew Zimmern and sponsored by Toyota. In the original series, Andrew drove a Toyota across the country, visiting cities and spotlighting restaurants of every kind — from Michelin-starred rooms to the neighborhood place you seek out for your favorite comfort food.
For this extension — the DIY Kitchen — I redesigned the interface end to end, and the content shifted with it. Instead of established restaurants, the videos followed people building their own: restaurateurs, food-truck owners, and home cooks turning what they know and love into a business. Each story is rooted in heritage — “I’m from this place, and this is how I’ve woven my family’s recipes into what I make.” All told, I shaped Appetite for Life across nearly seven years.
